Product Overview

The TXW826-824 is a low-power, high-performance, highly integrated audio/video wireless SOC chip. Internally integrating 2.4GHz Wi-Fi+BLE, high-performance ISP image processing, and H.264/MJPEG encoding, it features excellent RF performance, superior image processing capabilities, encoding quality, and low bitrates. Additionally, it integrates a security algorithm acceleration engine and offers comprehensive peripheral interfaces: Audio ADC/DAC, MIPI CSI, LCD, RMII MAC, USB2.0 High Speed Host/Device, SDMMC Host, IIS, PDM, and other rich peripheral interfaces. 

The TXW826-824 supports program execution on SPI Flash. It supports RTOS and third-party components, and provides an open and user-friendly development and debugging environment. 

The TXW826-824 is available in the mainstream QFN48 package format and supports integrated PSRAM and Flash.

Tri-Mode Wireless and Wi-Fi 4 Networking

TXW826-824 integrates 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, BLE and SLE. Wi-Fi supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, 1T1R and 5/10/20/40MHz bandwidth with up to 150Mbps throughput, plus STA, AP, AP+STA relay and STA+STA operating modes. Built-in PA, LNA, RF switch and WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security make it suitable for 1080P cameras, recorders, intercoms and other wireless audio/video products.

1080P Video Encoding and Multi-Stream Output

The integrated H.264 encoder supports a single-camera 1920x1080@30fps main stream while simultaneously outputting 640x360@30fps and 320x180@30fps sub-streams. MJPEG encode/decode, CBR/VBR/FIXQP/QPMP rate control and four ROI encoding regions support real-time image capture, encoding and wireless transmission for IPC, cameras and recorders.

High-Performance ISP and Image Enhancement

TXW826-824 includes a high-performance ISP with up to 1920x1080@30fps processing and dual-channel time sharing. It supports AWB, AE and AF 3A algorithms, adaptive 2D/3D noise reduction, bad-pixel correction, lens shading correction and brightness, sharpness, contrast, hue and saturation tuning. Motion detection and infrared coloring further improve imaging quality and visual processing efficiency.

Camera Input, Display Output and Graphics Acceleration

For video input, TXW826-824 supports UVC, SPI lens input and one 2-lane or one 1-lane MIPI camera. For display output, it supports RGB, MCU8080, MCU6800 and SPI/QSPI LCD interfaces with up to 1280x720@60fps output. Integrated DMA2D graphics acceleration helps simplify development for cameras, display terminals and varied audio/video products.

Complete Audio and Peripheral Interfaces

TXW826-824 provides differential analog MIC, Audio ADC/DAC, PDM and IIS/PCM capabilities for audio capture, playback and multi-sample-rate processing. Peripheral resources include USB2.0 HS, USB1.1 FS, SD Host, SPI/IIC, UART, PWM, ADC and comparators, enabling flexible expansion for storage, displays, sensors, audio and control interfaces.

Dual-Core Performance, Storage, Low Power and Security

TXW826-824 uses a dual-core XuanTie E804 architecture. CPU0 is an E804FD with DSP instructions and hardware floating point, while CPU1 is an E804D with DSP instructions; both run up to 240MHz. The chip supports built-in Flash/PSRAM, 368KB SRAM, RTOS and third-party components, plus ULP/LP low-power modes and multi-IO wakeup. AES, SHA, CRC, TRNG and SPI Flash firmware encryption provide hardware-level security for embedded production designs.
